About Us

Since 1946, the Bedford Elks Country Club, Inc. and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #1707 in Bedford, Pennsylvania, have been providing locals with a family-friendly recreation center. The Benevolent Order of Elks Lodge #1707 also organizes community service projects for the region. 


History

The Bedford Elks Lodge #1707 was chartered in 1946, with 62 members signing to become a part of the national group of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elk. Originally the site of the post-Civil War Arandale Hotel, the Bedford Elks Country Club continues to leave its mark on the history of the region.

The Bedford Elks Lodge #1707 welcomes new memberships and involvement in our tradition of civic and community involvement. Our lodge and country club has contributed in many ways to the quality of life in our region throughout the years.
